On Friday 21 June our school celebrated Aboriginal culture through Djeembana. This special day was part of our Cultural Connectionz series and provided the school the chance to learn and grow in our understanding of Indigenous traditions and values. There was a fantastic turn out from our parent community for the assembly. We enjoyed performances from Indigenous Hip Hop Project, learnt from Uncle Lionel and viewed acts from each year level. As a school we continue to promote our respect and appreciation for the First Nations People.
It was a long and busy day, but so valuable!
