Staffing Changes

This week, we say goodbye to teachers Linda Cumbers, Fiona Robinson and Kylie Yeomans, who have tendered their resignation from our school.

These positions have been advertised and interviews to select the best applicants for our school will be held at the beginning of Term Three.

Linda, Fiona and Kylie are excellent classroom teachers and have built many caring relationships with children, parents and staff. We are very sorry to lose them and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.

In happier news, this term we welcomed Angela Chiavaroli to our school to teach music. The children have been very excited. They report that Angela is an excellent singer and they are enjoying learning new songs.

We are looking forward to welcoming  Ciane Brewster to our school at the beginning of Term Three to teach art. She is a highly talented artist and has excellent teaching experience, mostly in overseas schools.

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on Children with Disability

All schools in Australia, including Independent and Catholic schools, will participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability this year.

The Data Collection is an annual count of the number of children with disability receiving educational adjustments to support their participation in education on the same basis as children without disability.

The collection of this information from states and territories will inform future policy and program planning in relation to children with disability.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jason LEONARD-SCOTT on (03) 5991 3600 or the Victorian Department of Education and Training Data Collection Hotline on (03) 9651 3621. For questions after 7 August 2015, please call the Australian Government Department of Education and Training on 1300 566 046.
