Visualisation is a skill that we often utilise without realising.
Over the past week we have been drawing down our visualisations when listening to and reading a variety of unfamiliar texts.
We are currently reading Holes by Louis Sachar as our classroom novel and the children were able to draw the images they see in in their minds while listening to the story.
At the end of the term when we watch the movie, children in 404 will be able to compare what they were picturing in their minds with what they are seeing on the screen.
We can’t wait to hear more of the many adventures of Stanley Yelnats!
