At Cranbourne Carlisle Primary school, the maths provides students with access to important mathematical ideas, knowledge and skills that they will draw on in their personal experiences. The three curriculum areas are Number and algebra, Measurement and geometry and Data and probability.

Students learn through hands on experience and daily practise of maths skills and reinforcement of concepts. Digital technologies are used to learn and reinforce mathematical concepts. The Mathematics curriculum focuses on developing children’s mathematical understanding, fluency, reasoning, modelling and problem-solving.
