Final day!

Dear families and friends, a heartfelt thank you for your support during 2018. Enjoy the holiday break and we look forward to working with you in 2019

It’s that time of year again! The school year is almost over. The Christmas holidays are just around the corner. Children generally want to plunge into holidays, leaving schoolwork, timetables and teachers behind. That’s only natural. But before they get too far into holiday mode, parents can consider how they can round out the year, and bring it to a close. Children of all ages benefit from parental recognition of their achievements and successes as it sets the stage for the coming school year. Here are a few ideas to help you close off the old year to prepare for the year ahead:

1. Discuss the highlights and the lowlights of the year.|
2. Celebrate improvement and success.
3. Show appreciation to those who assisted you along the way.
4. Look forward to a fresh start.
5. Now relax and have a great break.
So it’s a wrap!

CHRISTMAS MARKET CHANGE OF DATE

Due to the heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast for Thursday, we are moving the Christmas Market to Tuesday 18 December. The market will run from 4pm – 7pm.

We understand this may be an inconvenience to some families at this busy stage of the year but have made this change to allow our children to enjoy the market experience.

The Christmas Concert will still take place on Thursday 13 December at 9am in the gym, regardless of the weather.

Rain, Rain, Go Away…

Whilst we are looking forward to the Christmas Market, a change of date to Tuesday 18 December MIGHT take place due to the predicted weather for Thursday. We are monitoring the situation closely and will confirm the information as soon as a decision is made. A change of date would allow us to enjoy the festivities without the hassle of umbrellas and gumboots.

The Christmas Concert will still take place on Thursday 13 December at 9am in the gym, regardless of the weather.

Should any change take place we will communicate it here on our website, through the before and after school announcements and on each year level blog.
