We are very pleased to announce that City of Casey has now approved a supervised school crossing to be installed on Silky Oak Drive outside the front of the school. This crossing will be installed during the school holidays, ready for the start of Term Four.
We thank the City of Casey for working with the school and supporting us to prioritise the safety of our children and community at the front of the school. We are also enormously grateful to all the parents and community members who have raised concerns, both with the school and with the council. Thank you!
We are pleased to announce the school now has our very own psychologist, Wendy Adelaja. Wendy is a registered general psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of emotional and developmental disorders, such as:
- Anxiety disorders
- Childhood depression
- Adjustment disorders (as well as subclinical difficulties adjusting to change, i.e., divorce)
- Emotional and behavioral difficulties
- Educational and academic issues
Wendy is employed by OzChild and has over 15 years’ experience gained in Australia and overseas working in a range of settings including private practice, primary and secondary school settings, and early parenting services.
If you believe your child would benefit from counselling with Wendy on any of the above issues please discuss with your classroom teacher or Assistant Principal Tobin Cuss.
