Year 6 Camp

Well done to our Year 6 children for their fantastic behaviour on school camp at Mill Valley Ranch. The children displayed great teamwork, perseverance, empathy, and risk taking over the course of the week which included many children’s first experience riding horses, eating new foods and working with children they wouldn’t normally spend time with. As a staff we observed how mature the children were being and how harmonious the group was. If your child wants to take their shoes off and throw them at a water bottle you may have to get them to explain the game!

I managed to join in on the fun on Wednesday and had a fantastic day but was very grateful to go home to my warm bed at the end of the day and get a good night’s sleep.

A special thank you to Ms Mepstead, Ms Dunstan, Ms Greenough, Ms Davis, Mr Mac and our two very brave parent volunteers Paul Seeley and Rebecca Parker for giving up their time to facilitate this camp and an extra special thanks to Ms Dunstan for organising the event.

TTFM Parent Survey

Welcome back for Term 2. We begin by providing a chance for parent feedback. Tell Them From Me is an online survey system devised by The Learning Bar that helps schools capture the views of children, teachers and parents. The TTFM Parent Survey link is now open for all parents and carers in the CCPS community. All responses are anonymous and help create a broad set of data for us to consider. This survey will provide the school with a range of information that will be combined with information from our teacher and children that will help drive decision making in the school moving forward.

The survey can be completed online by clicking on the image below or by pasting the following link into your browser www.tellthemfromme.com/ccps18

Soccer Challenge for all Dads

We are putting together a team to challenge the Dandenong Team of Dads. This will be a fun opportunity for our parents to get together and represent our school community. A time slot has not been locked in but the match will be held on Sunday May 6th.

A basic kit will be provided thanks to the Casey Comets, ensure to bring soccer boots, water bottle etc.

Please spread the word so we can fill our team. Any further enquiries please call the School Office or contact Mr Cuss.
