The use of opinion data as a measure of school performance is a very important step towards making our school the best it can possibly be. Each year, we conduct anonymous surveys for staff, parents and children. We use this information to inform and direct our plans for school improvement.
51 families were randomly selected to participate and received their surveys last week. We are grateful to the 15 families who have returned completed forms to the School Office.
If you have received a survey and have not yet completed it, please do so as honestly, but as fairly, as possible and return it to the School Office by MONDAY 3 AUGUST. Your participation is appreciated.
Four very talented children, Anna, Chinmay, Sally and Sanchit, under the guidance of Mr Cuss, produced a video, which was entered into the ‘One Team, One Goal-Celebrating Diversity’ competition. Schools were invited to create a radio commercial, video or visual presentation that demonstrates their understanding of why it’s important to have respect for diversity and promotes the message that cultural diversity is recognised and celebrated in their community.
Over 120 schools entered and our school was one of four Primary Schools to be short listed and we were therefore invited to attend the official presentation in the Great Hall of the National Gallery of Victoria this morning, along with the very excited children and their very proud parents. We were delighted to be announced runner’s up in the Primary Category.
Congratulations to Anna, Chinmay, Sally, Sanchit and Mr Cuss. You should be very proud of your achievement!
