27 May 2019

Last week on Friday 24th May the students from years 3 – 6 participated in the first Voice and Choice session. Students had the opportunity to choose from 15 different subjects. The list of subjects were:

  • Craft
  • Star Wars
  • Sketching
  • Cooking
  • Science Experiments
  • Fitness
  • AFL
  • Lego
  • Dance
  • Sewing
  • Photography
  • Gardening
  • Drama
  • Space
  • Food Decoration.

Students were allocated to subjects by their preferences.

Our first session was a huge success! Students loved to opportunity to be able to participate in subjects other than the usual curriculum based subjects. Some of the other student feedback included: ”Great to get out of our classroom and try something different”, ”Great way to end the day and the week”, ”I loved being able to mix with other students from other year levels” and ”I loved that I got to learn about something else interesting. Seeing the students all smiling and asking each other at the end of the day ”what did you do?” was really exciting and there was a great buzz around the school!

We can’t wait until this Friday when we have our second Voice and Choice session! Watch this space!!
