520 | Science Experiments with Liquids!

Year 5 have loved getting stuck into Science this term! We have been learning about the different properties of liquids, and more specifically – viscosity! Viscosity refers to how much resistance a liquid has to flow! The children were shown honey, oil and water and asked which they thought was the most viscous. They thought honey was obviously more viscous, but they weren’t sure about water and oil! So, they then conducted experiments to see if they could figure it out! They had to ensure the test was a fair test by controlling what they changed, measured and kept the same. Check out some of our experiments…
