We have been learning a range of different strategies to help us solve problems in Maths! This week, our focus was on the strategy ‘Make a Table or List’. We learned that ‘make a table or list’ involves organising data in an organised form and is an efficient way of classifying information in order to lead to a solution.
We were able to use this strategy to help us solve some pretty tricky problems, however, we do need to practice it regularly so it stays fresh in our minds! If you have a chance, please ask your child about the problem solving strategy focus each week – there will be a new one each time!
