This week children are learning to use double strategies in Maths while practising the skill of writing number sentences.
During the Pumpkin Double Scoot activity, children wander around the classroom where there are various Doubles cards scattered throughout. They then write the number sentence down to match the image on the card including their answer, before moving onto the next card. For example, 8+8=16.
Children have the ability to develop new Mathematical skills while communicating with their fellow peers.
